Eline Pederson
Eline Pedersen is a Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. She is married to fellow chiropractor Costas Hadjikonstantinou and is a mother to Savvas and Matheos. Eline believes in nature’s way of adapting to life and upholds the chiropractic philosophy that healing is an innate action – the body is a self-healing entity.
Eline works as a chiropractor with pregnant women, where she saw the necessity of a multidisciplinary birthing team to support pregnant and birthing women. It aids the best possible birth outcome, reducing stress and trauma during pregnancy, birth, and childhood. She believes that people are responsible for protecting each newborn, supporting its growth into a healthy, fearless individual, and this inspired Eline to initiate the NGO Birth Forward.
She was lucky to cooperate with professionals from different fields and parents with a shared goal for improving Cyprus’s birthing culture. Cyprus has one of the highest C-sections worldwide and is something Birth Forward works on remedying through support, advocacy, and education. Eline works with expecting mothers, supporting them in claiming their right to bring a newborn into this world and helping and ensuring that the next generations have the best self-healing state and best possible futures.
Eline traveled the world and experienced humanity, which fortified her purpose of serving it. Watching her mom’s work with Amnesty International has shown her the importance of humanitarian work. Driven by the belief that love and passion are core success factors, she encourages women to take action, embrace happiness, and choose work that fits their philosophy and brings meaning to their lives.
Eline Pedersen received several awards, such as the Honorary Doctorate of Humanity, for her humanitarian work and Leadership from the Academy of Universal Global Peace. Eline enjoys a peaceful familial life in Cyprus, running her clinics in Cyprus and Scotland.
